Associate Professor at the University of Palermo, with expertise in Mathematical Methods for Economics and Finance.

My research focuses on optimization models, as well as fuzzy and stochastic approaches, agent-based simulations, and efficiency analysis using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). I have published in areas such as portfolio optimization, revenue management, and the assessment of sustainable well-being. My current work is centered on the development of predictive models for economic and social forecasting, leveraging text analytics, sentiment analysis, and neural networks.
