Miriam Ala is a PhD student and a medical student at the University of Palermo. She received her MS in Biomedical Engineering in 2024. She starts the PhD program in 2024 and join to the Medical Imaging Laboratory of the department of Biomedicine, Neuroscience and Advanced Diagnostics. Her research is focused on the development of AI-based clinical decision support systems for primary prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
