Francesco Prinzi is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Biomedicine, Neuroscience and Advanced Diagnostics at the University of Palermo, Italy. He completed the PhD program in 2023 in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at University of Palermo. Francesco also spent a 6-month training and research period at the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge. He received his MS in Computer Engineering in 2020 obtaining top marks. He is an Editorial Board Member of International Journal of Imaging Systems and Technology. His research is focused on the development of diagnostic and predictive models through Machine Learning, Explainable Artificial Intelligence and Medical Imaging Analysis methods.
